Paul Doherty

Originally from Dublin, Ireland, I relocated to Australia at the end of 2022 and have been working in education recruitment for over two years. This journey has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to support a large number of teachers in their job search, helping them secure their dream roles while ensuring the process is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

I am currently a Senior Recruitment Consultant specialising in the Primary school sector across Melbourne and Victoria. This role brings me immense satisfaction as I help educators achieve their career aspirations and match them with the right opportunities. My ability to understand the unique needs of both job seekers and schools has allowed me to create successful partnerships, making a meaningful impact in the education sector.

My decision to move into recruitment stemmed from witnessing firsthand the transformative effect the right teacher can have on students' lives. This inspired me to be part of the process, ensuring that passionate educators find roles where they can truly make a difference. With strong interpersonal skills, a natural talent for problem-solving, and a keen ability to connect people with opportunities, education recruitment has been a perfect fit for me.

Outside of work, I am an active individual with a strong passion for sports and travel. Sport has been a significant part of my life from a young age, shaping my values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Just as in sports, success in the workplace relies on collaboration, communication, and working towards a shared goal—skills that I bring into my role every day.
