Position 1: Full-Time Diploma Educator (Ongoing, 3-4 Years Age Group)
Position 2: Full-Time Diploma Educator (Ongoing, Under-Three Room)

Our Primary School-based Early Learning Centre (ELC) invites dedicated Diploma Educators to join our team in these fulfilling roles. Our ELC offers exceptional programs for children from six months to school age, focusing on care, growth, and holistic development, set within a beautiful, park-like campus in East Melbourne.

Available Positions:

1. Full-Time Diploma Educator (Ongoing, 3-4 Years Age Group)

In this role, you will support children aged 3 to 4 years, delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate programs that encourage exploration, creativity, and social-emotional development. You will collaborate with colleagues to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for every child.

2. Full-Time Diploma Educator (Ongoing, Under-Three Room)

This role focuses on fostering the growth and development of children under three years of age by providing high-quality care and learning experiences. You will work closely with a dedicated team to promote physical, cognitive, and emotional development in a safe and supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities (Both Roles):

  • Plan and deliver programs aligned with the VEYLDF and EYLF frameworks.
  • Observe and document children’s development, encouraging active participation.
  • Maintain health, hygiene, and safety standards in line with regulations.
  • Foster respectful, supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement through reflective practice.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Required: Diploma in Early Childhood Education, current Working with Children Check or VIT registration, and First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012).
  • Desired: Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach, strong knowledge of EYLF, VEYLDF, and National Quality Framework.
  • Attributes: Warm, considerate, calm under pressure, and skilled in prioritizing and multitasking.
