This is an international school, many of the students speak an additional language and as a result we are seeking an Early Learning Educator who speaks Italian.
ABOUT THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR:
Prospero Teaching are seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join a dynamic Early Learning Centre. This full-time position offers the exciting opportunity to work with children aged 3-5 years, guiding them as they explore and discover their world while learning a second language.
As part of the schools dedicated team, you will promote the joy of learning and support the foundations of lifelong learning.
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with a strong team of Early Childhood Teachers and Educators
Foster a love of learning through play-based, child-centered experiences
Integrate Italian language into the everyday curriculum
Support individual growth and development in a nurturing environment
Ensure a high standard of care and well-being for all children
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
ACECQA recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Education and Care
Current ACECQA-approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma certifications (or be willing to obtain)
Current ACECQA-approved Child Protection training (or be willing to obtain)
Fluency in Italian and a strong understanding of Italian culture
Availability to work between 7:00am - 6:00pm (with regular scheduled shifts)
Knowledge of current early education and care legislation (EYLF and NQS)
A strengths-based approach to working with children and families
Strong ICT skills for daily administrative tasks
