We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join a reputable early learning centre in Melbourne. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and assess high-quality educational programs following the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children
- Develop strong, supportive relationships with children and families, ensuring open communication and active collaboration
- Observe and document children’s progress to create individual learning plans tailored to their needs
- Maintain compliance with relevant policies and regulations, including child protection and safety standards
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development to enhance teaching practices
- Actively contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, recognized by ACECQA
- Current VIT (Victorian Institute of Teaching) registration or eligibility to obtain it
- Proven experience in early childhood education, particularly with preschool-aged children
- Strong understanding of the EYLF, National Quality Framework (NQF), and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to child safety and wellbeing, with a current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications (or willingness to obtain)
