English Teacher – Full-time Permanent Role

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time, permanent contract

What We're Looking For: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled English teacher who is passionate about fostering students' creativity and critical thinking. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach a range of texts (novels, films) and help students develop analytical and creative skills. You should be committed to delivering engaging lessons and providing a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified teacher of English (with a strong knowledge of Language, Literature, and Literacy)
  • Demonstrated high pedagogical standards and effective communication with students
  • Ability to teach and inspire students across a range of English texts and skills
  • Proven excellence in classroom teaching and student engagement
  • Actively participate in professional development and keep up-to-date with current educational standards
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with department members, parents, and the wider school community

Essential Requirements:

  • Teacher Accreditation: Must have or be eligible for teacher registration in South Australia (TRB)
  • Work Rights: Must have or be able to obtain full working rights in Australia
  • Availability: Able to start in Term 1 or Term 2, 2025
  • References: Provide professional references from your most recent employer if successful
  • Experience: Proven ability to teach English and engage with students
