Key Responsibilities Experienced Early Childhood Teacher/ Ed Leader:
  • Plan, implement, and assess high-quality educational programs following the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children
  • Develop strong, supportive relationships with children and families, ensuring open communication and active collaboration
  • Observe and document children’s progress to create individual learning plans tailored to their needs
  • Maintain compliance with relevant policies and regulations, including child protection and safety standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development to enhance teaching practices
  • Actively contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, recognized by ACECQA
  • Current NESA registration or eligibility to obtain it
  • Proven experience in early childhood education, particularly with preschool-aged children
  • Strong understanding of the EYLF, National Quality Framework (NQF), and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Commitment to child safety and wellbeing, with a current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications (or willingness to obtain)
