Key Responsibilities Experienced Early Childhood Teacher/ Ed Leader:
Plan, implement, and assess high-quality educational programs following the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children
Develop strong, supportive relationships with children and families, ensuring open communication and active collaboration
Observe and document children’s progress to create individual learning plans tailored to their needs
Maintain compliance with relevant policies and regulations, including child protection and safety standards
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development to enhance teaching practices
Actively contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, recognized by ACECQA
Current NESA registration or eligibility to obtain it
Proven experience in early childhood education, particularly with preschool-aged children
Strong understanding of the EYLF, National Quality Framework (NQF), and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Commitment to child safety and wellbeing, with a current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications (or willingness to obtain)
