Position 2: Lunch Cover Relief Educator (Three-Year-Old Classroom)
Position 3: Full-Time Early Childhood Educator (Ongoing, Under-Three Room)

Our Primary School-based Early Learning Centre (ELC) invites dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team in these fulfilling roles. Our ELC offers exceptional programs for children from six months to school age, focusing on care, growth, and holistic development, set within a beautiful, park-like campus in East Melbourne.

Available Positions:

1. Full-Time Early Childhood Educator (Ongoing, All Age Groups)
Support diverse age groups by creating engaging, developmentally appropriate programs that foster children's agency, interests, and individual growth. Collaborate with ELC teachers and staff to assess, evaluate, and inspire each child’s unique learning journey.

2. Lunch Cover Relief Educator (Three-Year-Old Classroom)
Provide essential midday support in our three-year-old classroom, helping maintain a nurturing and engaging environment. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working part-time in a dedicated classroom setting.

3. Full-Time Early Childhood Educator (Ongoing, Under-Three Room)
Focus on the development of our youngest learners by delivering high-quality programs that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in the under-three room. Work alongside a supportive team committed to the highest standards of care and education.

Key Responsibilities (All Roles):

  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver programs aligned with VEYLDF and EYLF frameworks.
  • Observe and record children's development, promoting participation and engagement.
  • Maintain health, hygiene, and safety standards in line with regulations.
  • Develop respectful, supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement through reflective practice.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Required: Diploma or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, current Working with Children Check or VIT registration, and First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012).
  • Desired: Knowledge of Reggio Emilia approach, strong understanding of EYLF, VEYLDF, and National Quality Framework.
  • Attributes: Warm, considerate, calm under pressure, and skilled in prioritizing and multitasking.
