Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, support, and mentor a team of early childhood educators to provide high-quality education and care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
• Maintain and update policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Oversee the development and delivery of programs that promote the holistic development of children.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
• Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre, including staffing, resourcing, and administration.
• Act as the primary contact for regulatory bodies and liaise with relevant authorities when required.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) or Diploma qualified
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and CPR certification.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role in early childhood education.
• Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s learning and development in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Desirable:

• Previous experience as a Nominated Supervisor.
• Experience with managing budgets and resource allocation.
