We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic VCE English Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team for a full-time, permanent position starting in Term 2.

About the Role:

As a VCE English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide students as they prepare for their VCE examinations. You will teach a range of VCE English units, provide academic support, and foster a positive learning environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators and contribute to the overall success of the English department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in VCE English.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Provide ongoing feedback and support to students.
• Monitor and assess student progress and academic development.
• Participate in professional learning and contribute to school initiatives.
• Work closely with parents, colleagues, and school leadership to support student success.

Key Requirements:

• A current VIT (Victorian Institute of Teaching) registration.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in English or Education.
• Demonstrated experience teaching VCE English, including the ability to prepare students for exams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
