About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate teacher to deliver high-quality VCE Foundation Maths and VCE VM Numeracy lessons to students. You will be responsible for engaging students in the curriculum, supporting their learning journey, and helping them reach their potential in mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging VCE Foundation Maths and VCE VM Numeracy lessons.
- Provide support and guidance to students in their academic and personal development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and student well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and student outcomes.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant qualifications in Education and/or Mathematics (e.g., a Bachelor of Education or equivalent).
- Experience teaching VCE Foundation Maths and/or VCE VM Numeracy, or a similar curriculum.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a supportive, engaging learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to the values of the school and to providing the best learning experience for every student.
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge of the VCE Foundation Maths and VCE VM Numeracy curriculum.
- Experience in teaching students with diverse learning needs and backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
