International Teachers

Absolutely! We frequently arrange virtual interviews and extend offers before you depart from your home country. This allows you to secure your role and plan your transition smoothly to Australia, although please note certain requirements are needed to teach in each state.

Requirements vary depending on the teaching level and subject area. A recognised teaching qualification and relevant experience are necessary. We can advise on specific requirements across all states of Australia

To teach in Australia, you need to have your international qualifications recognized by the state. For example, to work in Victoria you will need a VIT registration & NSW you will need your NESA accreditation. Prospero Teaching can assist with the process for these certifications and guide you through meeting all necessary educational standards depending on which state you are looking to work.

Yes! Qualified New Zealand teachers with NZ citizenship have full working rights in Australia and completely transferrable skills. New Zealand teachers are absolutely loved by our school client network, and we are able to place them as soon as they are able to relocate!
