Early Childhood Full Time Role - Auckland, Remuera

Prospero Teaching is seeking either a qualified and registered ECE teacher or a new graduate for our client centre in Remuera, Auckland.

Our client centre empowers children to become confident competent learners through an inquiry and play-based curriculum. You will be joining a team that is a warm, nurturing and vibrant centre, with a large indoor and outdoor environment that has a soccer turf and indoor gymnasium, and a strong school readiness programme.

This centre is a big advocate for supporting children to explore and be confident in their abilities. With the use of the centre gymnasium, children are able to engage in various experiences from dance, yoga and playball – perfect for those rainy days too!

ABOUT THE ROLE/ CENTRE:

• PAY PARITY
• 81 children
• A strong connection to the local schools
• Three age-specific and tailored spaces (4 Rooms catering from 3 months – 5 years of age)
• Strong experiences and qualified team with a positive team culture
• Hours: 35-40 hours per week
• Location: Auckland, Remuera
• Role: Early Childhood Teacher

• A teacher who is sensitive to children and their families requirements
• Effective communication skills with a proactive outlook and an ability to always maintain professionalism

BEFORE JOINING THE TEAM:

• Hold a Level 7 Education Qualification in Early Childhood or Primary, and/or NZQA approved qualifications (if qualified) – Or about to complete your qualification (3rd year student)
• Current NZ Teachers Registration (if qualified)
• Comply with the Children’s Act 2014 compliance requirements
