Full time early childhood role in South Auckland

Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified and registered or new graduate for a teaching position for our client centre in South Auckland.

Our client centres values maintaining strong connections and partnerships with children and their whanau. This centre value the input of whanau and truly listen to whanau aspirations to help guide and support teachers planning and curriculum to be able to enhance the growing development of each child.  You will be working in a centre that provides a nurturing environment through unhurried care moments, tuakana teina and in an environment where children are able to work their own pace.

ABOUT THE CENTRE/ ROLE:

• Full time position
• Role: Early Childhood Teacher
• This centre caters for babies right through till when a child transitions to school
• Nutritious meals provided for children
• Passionate team that has a strong team culture
• Experienced director/ manager to support you in your teaching journey

• Effective communication skills with a proactive outlook and an ability to always maintain professionalism

BEFORE JOINING THE TEAM:

• Hold a Level 7 Education Qualification in Early Childhood or Primary, and/or NZQA approved qualifications (if qualified) – Or about to complete your qualification (3rd year student)
• Current NZ Teachers Registration (if qualified)
• Comply with the Children’s Act 2014 compliance requirements
