Teacher-in-training/ new graduate ECE role

Looking for a role whilst you are in training?

Prospero Teaching are seeking a 3rd year teacher in training or a new graduate for our client centre in Auckland’s Mt Albert.

Our client centre has a teaching programme based upon values of respect, inclusion, partnership with whanau/parents and providing a rich bicultural curriculum. Our client centre believes in providing a high-quality learning environment for children to be able to actively engage and participate. With a strong focus on providing a child-centered, play based environment that is nurturing, safe, and stimulating.

ABOUT THE CENTRE/ ROLE:

• Flexible working hours to suit your studies (20-30 hours per week)

• Ability to positively engage with the tamariki, parents, staff, and the wider community
• Easy access to transportation
• A true passion for Early Childhood Education
• Effective communication skills with a proactive outlook and an ability to always maintain professionalism

BEFORE JOINING THE TEAM:

• Currently studying or completing a Level 7 Education Qualification in Early Childhood or Primary (teacher-in-training)
• Comply with the Children’s Act 2014 compliance requirements
