Montessori Teacher needed in Wellington

Prospero Teaching is a NZ based Education Specialist Agency that has been established for 20 years, placing teachers in both permanent and relief roles, across Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Schools globally.

More recently, we have opened up two New Zealand offices and have since been successfully placing Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Teachers into full-time employment.

About the roles and Centre:

Prospero Teaching are currently working with a Montessori centre in Wellington who are looking for a passionate nursery teacher who is eager to work with children 6 months to 2-year-olds.

If you are looking for an exciting new role and are passionate about supporting infants with their daily care routines & providing children with a warm, nurturing space that supports children to continue to grow and develop, then we have a role for you!

You will be welcomed into a centre the fosters independence, sensory experiences and is rich in language. You will be supporting children to grow and learn at their own pace whilst you provide children/ groups of children the opportunity to grow and strengthen their various skills across the curriculum areas.

If you are interested in this role, you will need the following:

– Level 7 Education Qualification in Early Childhood or Primary

– Current NZ Teachers Registration

– Comply with the Children’s Act 2014 compliance requirements
